Products

REPI offers a complete range of solutions for thermoplastic polymers, the undisputed protagonists of many industrial and consumer applications. The REMAP range consists of colors and additives in liquid form that can add value, aesthetics and performance to the product, also representing a sustainable choice in line with the recyclability and sustainability requirements set by the circular economy. REPI colours and additives have technological, aesthetic and environmental advantages and therefore represent a conscious choice in favour of the use of plastics globally.

Colours for plastics

REPI produces liquid colours for polymers and thermoplastics, formulated ad hoc to ensure maximum compatibility and performance to the specific polymer, be it PET, HDPE, PP, PVC, ABS, PC, PMMA and recycled polymers. The liquid colouring technology ensures excellent dispersion, high concentration and colouring power, precision in dosing as well as efficiency in logistics and storage.

In our colourants for thermoplastic materials there are no limits to the shades that can be formulated, which range from transparent and translucent, to opaque with pearlescent, metallic, matt effects. Depending on the final application, REPI formulates colours that comply with specific regulations in the food and medical sectors. The liquid colouring technology allows to obtain excellent dispersion even at very low dosages.

The colorant can be formulated together with specific additives to obtain a complete product that gives desired aesthetics and performance in a single solution. The high colouring power, extremely precise dosage, efficient logistics and storage make REPI technology a highly sustainable solution for the colouring of thermoplastic polymers.

Additives for plastics

REPI offers a range of additives for the packaging industry and for industrial applications that act on performance, protection and aesthetics. Additives for thermoplastics can be combined with colours to offer an integrated solution. The high concentration of active ingredients and dosing precision offer the user flexibility and reliability in use.

Better performance of the production process: greater machine productivity, less waste and less energy use. This leads, as a result, to cost efficiency and therefore to a more competitive finished product.

Greater protection of the product or the content of a plastic packaging: depending on the final application, it may be necessary to protect the product from aging due to exposure to atmospheric phenomena. When it comes to packaging, there is also the need to protect its contents, in particular all those photosensitive products such as fruit juices, milk, detergents of various kinds.

Advanced aesthetics: REPI liquid additives, alone or in blends with liquid colours, are able to make the product bright and shiny, avoiding yellowing or alterations in shade caused by exposure to atmospheric phenomena.

Equipment

REPI develops and manufactures a range of dosing units and analysis instruments support users in the use of REPI’s colours and additives.

The dosing units are suitable for both injection moulding and extrusion processes.
These instruments ensure maximum precision and constant control of the dosing process. Gear pumps of different flow rates can be easily and quickly installed and removed and allow for easy cleaning.

REPI dosing units are also part of complex and customized control systems customized on customers’ needs, such as the Colour Management System: an in-line colour control system for extrusion processes.

REPI offers as well the Light Meter, an analysis instrument to check colour and additive consistency in PET preforms quickly and reliably.
