Industrial Applications

Plastics are among the most popular materials for many industrial applications; they are, in fact, easily mouldable and therefore highly versatile, resistant and long-lasting. The polymers can be combined with each other or with different materials, and are extremely preforming and sustainable. In the building industry, polycarbonate or PMMA panels are used as protective covers or barriers; in furniture, ABS, PVC, PP, PET profiles protect the furniture components and give unique and resistant finishes; in the automotive industry, many components are made of more or less complex and modified polymers that allow considerable lightening and ensure optimal performance. REPI offers its solutions to all industrial areas, for injection moulded and extruded products, offering colours and additives specifically designed to add performance, aesthetics and, ultimately, value.

The additives

ANTI YELLOW

The range of REPI ANTI YELLOW additives comprises different formulations able to balance the appearance of r-PET and regain brightness, as well as to correct off-shade raw materials, restoring the look as it was virgin. Formulations are ...

IV ENHANCERS

The additives for Thermoplastics

R-PET has normally a lower Intrinsic Viscosity than virgin PET. For applications requiring higher mechanical properties these additives can be a valid aid. REPI IV ENHANCERS are chain extenders t...

OPTICAL BRIGHTENERS

REPITAN BONDING ENHANCER (BE) is the liquid blend of selected additives tailored to improve the adhesion of polyether PU foams to foams, or to paper or textile.
This reactive additive gives to PU foams extraordinary adhesion streng...

XPANSOR™

Chemical foaming agents are used in many thermoplastic applications with the aims of reducing weight of PVC large parts, making logistics easier and lowering costs. The balance between density reduction and cell structure size is key fac...
