Colours for plastics

REPI produces liquid colours for polymers and thermoplastics, formulated ad hoc to ensure maximum compatibility and performance to the specific polymer, be it PET, HDPE, PP, PVC, ABS, PC, PMMA and recycled polymers. The liquid colouring technology ensures excellent dispersion, high concentration and colouring power, precision in dosing as well as efficiency in logistics and storage.

In our colourants for thermoplastic materials there are no limits to the shades that can be formulated, which range from transparent and translucent, to opaque with pearlescent, metallic, matt effects. Depending on the final application, REPI formulates colours that comply with specific regulations in the food and medical sectors. The liquid colouring technology allows to obtain excellent dispersion even at very low dosages.

The colorant can be formulated together with specific additives to obtain a complete product that gives desired aesthetics and performance in a single solution. The high colouring power, extremely precise dosage, efficient logistics and storage make REPI technology a highly sustainable solution for the colouring of thermoplastic polymers.

REFIT PRODUCT RANGE

The REFIT range, a brand created by REPI in 2019 in response to the need for a CIRCULAR ECONOMY, is made up of additives and colours that FACILITATE the use of r-PET because they IMPROVE its aesthetics and its PERFORMANCE .
ANTI YELLOW additives are part of the REFIT range: a series of formulations enabling to correct the shade of recycled PET: by acting on Lab * values, the various formulations improve the greyish, green or red shades typical of a recycled PET blend.
The OPTICAL BRIGHTENERS additives also act on the aesthetics of the polymer, bringing the L * values back to the levels of a virgin PET. This additive can be combined with colours or with Anti Yellow.
The IV ENHANCER additive is a valuable aid to the performance of an r-PET product. The additive lengthens the molecular chain of recycled PET, bringing its intrinsic viscosity back to the levels of a virgin PET.
Finally, REFIT also includes a series of Fumé colours that act on the starting shade of r-PET, giving a "premium" and elegant look to the packaging itself. A limited amount of colour, allows the user to add a higher percentage of r-PET to his packaging, in line with the requirements of a circular economy.
